HYPNOTHERAPY

Hypnosis is about creating a focused state of mind with a clear purpose. It’s like gently quieting the busy, thinking part of your brain so you can connect with the part of your mind that is relaxed and open to new ideas.

We all experience this state naturally—when you’re driving home and suddenly realize you don’t remember every detail, or when you’re washing the dishes and your mind begins to wander. That relaxed, “almost daydreaming” feeling is a light form of hypnosis.

During hypnosis, you’re guided into a deeper state of relaxation where your subconscious mind—the part that shapes your habits, emotions, and beliefs—is more receptive. This openness makes it easier to create positive changes, whether that’s reducing stress, shifting unhelpful patterns, or building confidence.

Hypnosis is not about magic or losing control. It’s a way to help your mind focus with purpose and tap into your natural ability to learn, grow, and heal.

THE CONSCIOUS VS SUBCONSCIOUS 

We often try to change habits, behaviours, or beliefs using sheer willpower, through the conscious mind, but it rarely works for long. That’s because the subconscious mind, which operates beneath the surface, holds far more influence over how we think, feel, and act.

The subconscious is non-judgemental and deeply powerful. You can think of it like the hard drive of your brain, constantly taking in information, storing memories, emotions, patterns, and beliefs. Much of this happens automatically, outside of your awareness. If your brain tried to consciously process every detail of your day, you'd be completely overwhelmed. So instead, it filters most of that information — and just because you’re not consciously aware of something doesn’t mean it hasn’t been absorbed.

This filtering is often where blocks or internal conflicts begin. You might consciously want change, to feel calm, confident, or free, but subconscious beliefs, fears, familiarity, or emotional imprints can quietly contradict that intention. This is what keeps you feeling stuck, repeating old patterns, or experiencing discomfort, anxiety, or habits that seem hard to shift.

Hypnotherapy is like a gentle submarine that dips beneath the surface, helping you access those hidden layers, explore what’s there, and reprogram unhelpful patterns. Once the subconscious is onboard, change no longer feels like a battle - it begins to feel natural, easeful, and lasting.

Your Investment

Initial Consultation

$250

Your initial consultation is a 90 minute session where we will get to know each other and what you are wanting to achieve by the end of our sessions spent together. Over the sessions I use a number of techniques, modalities and processes both in and out of hypnosis depending on what you are wanting to work on. We will discuss what I will work through with you during the next session depending on the issue. We finish by ensuring you are feeling relaxed and calm. You will receive a follow up e-mail along with a hypnosis recording to begin your journey with.

Wellbeing Session

$165

Following an initial consultation, all sessions are 45 - 60 minutes.


Although I would generally reccommend selecting a package it may not feel or be right for you. I have it covered with a 'Wellbeing Session' 

Think of this as a "top up" session for anything that comes up, or anything you wish to work on. 

We finish this session like all others - I invite you to ask any questions, give you an indication of what our following session would look like (if necessary) and you get to sip away on a beautiful herbal tea.
